Guan Di (關帝), also known as Guan Yu (關羽), Guan Gong (關公), and Lord Guan, is one of the most revered deities in Chinese religion and culture. He began his journey as a mortal man — a warrior of unmatched loyalty, valor, and righteousness — and through his deeds in life was elevated to the status of a god.
